Your scan will be carried out in the comfort of your home. To help us obtain the clearest possible images of your endometrium and uterus, please follow the guidance below.
1. We arrive at your home with full ultrasound equipment
An experienced sonographer will bring advanced GE portable ultrasound technology and set everything up for you.
You only need to choose a comfortable space where you can lie down.
2. Please keep your bladder comfortably full
A full bladder helps lift the bowel and improves the transabdominal view of the uterus and endometrium.
3. A transvaginal scan may be recommended
For accurate endometrial thickness measurement, a transvaginal (internal) scan often provides the best detail.
This is optional, safe, and performed only with your consent.
It does not require a full bladder.
4. Have previous gynaecology or fertility reports available (if you have them)
